ANTI-CORRUPTION POLICY

Our commitments

Bluesafe rejects all forms of corruption1, applying a zero tolerance approach to any breach of this policy.

In order to prevent corruption, Bluesafe will carry out all its activities in accordance with the legislation in force in all areas of activity and in all countries in which it operates, taking into account its spirit and purpose, and undertakes to:

  • Not to influence the will or objectivity of persons outside the company to obtain any benefit or advantage through the use of unethical practices and/or practices contrary to applicable law.
  • Not to give, promise or offer, directly or indirectly, any valuable goods to any natural or legal person, in order to obtain undue advantages for the company.
  • Not to allow any facilitating payment2.
  • Do not use donations to cover up improper payments.
  • Pay special attention to those cases in which there are indications of a lack of integrity of the persons or entities with which business is done, in order to ensure that Bluesafe establishes business relations only with qualified persons and entities with an adequate reputation.
  • Faithfully and adequately reflect all actions, operations and transactions of the company in the books and records of the same.
  • Any courtesy gift or gesture of kindness from Bluesafe towards its clients, will be made without the spirit, or with the intention of committing and / or obtaining compensation from our clients, it will only contribute to good faith and strengthening of professional relations between Bluesafe and its clients.

If employees have evidence, doubts or suspicions regarding any form of corruption, they must immediately report it to their superior hierarchical or the director of the company.

Bluesafe will not tolerate any retaliation against anyone who, in good faith, reports facts that could constitute a breach of this policy.

Employees who violate these provisions will be subject to appropriate disciplinary measures, including, where appropriate, termination of employment, as well as other possible legal actions and/or sanctions. Likewise, Bluesafe reserves the right to take any action it deems appropriate against business partners3 who violate this policy.

Bluesafe considers compliance with this policy to be the responsibility of all its employees.

1 Corruption: Offering, promising, granting, requesting or accepting an unjustified benefit, for oneself or for a third party, to unduly favor another in the acquisition or sale of goods, in the contracting of services or in business relations.
2 Facilitation payment: Small payment made to lower-ranking public officials, the purpose of which is to expedite the performance of their responsibilities, such as access to public services, obtaining ordinary licenses or business permits, administrative procedures, the provision of police protection or the loading and/or unloading of goods.
3 Business Partners: Partners, contractors, suppliers, agents, distributors or collaborating companies.
